BACKGROUND
GLOT is a global network that promotes sharing culture through languages. The organisation is pioneering the way people connect with each other in an intercultural environment, promoting inclusion and empowerment for all. In addition, it provides others with opportunities, so the power of languages reaches EVERYONE. Its mission is closely aligned with the United Nation's Sustainable Development Goal (SDG) 4 - Quality Education and SDG 17 - Partnerships for the Goals.
ABOUT GLOT
As a cultural transfer and social impact network, GLOT seeks to connect different stakeholders and reduce language-related barriers by increasing educational opportunities for equal access to basic reading and maths skills in Spanish to 1500 children from low-income communities in Colombia by 2023.
ABOUT THE PROGRAM
KIT Literacy+ adopts concepts from the Teaching at the Right Level (TaRL) to provide children with the opportunity to learn reading, writing and maths skills by providing a kit with original, impactful and simple ideas. Each Kit contains:
