David Njeng'ere (MBS) is the CEO of the Kenya National Examinations Council (KNEC). He holds a PhD in Education and extensive qualifications, including a Post Graduate Diploma in Curriculum Design and Development. As an education advisor to the Cabinet Secretary and with previous roles at KNEC and the Kenya Institute of Curriculum Development (KICD), he played a vital role in conceptualizing and designing Competency Based Curriculum (CBC) and Competency Based Assessment (CBA) approaches. Dr. Njeng'ere's expertise extends to national, regional, and global education initiatives, including chairing East African Community Technical Committees Sessions for harmonizing education systems and curricula.
