Faith Gitonga is a digital transformational and influential leader in the Africa region with over 10 years of experience. She is a seasoned subject-matter-expert for positive transformation of businesses and people, with digital revolution at the core of it.Faith is currently working for Tony Blair Institute for Global Change leading Tech and digital Transformation. She previously worked for one of the leading Fintech companies in Africa; Cellulant, as the Country Manager. Before that, she worked with the Oracle Corporation leading their Digital Transformation efforts for the Public Sector. Equipped with strong track records of value-adding contribution and oversight across Retail and Institutional banking, her last C-suite role in banking was as the Director for Strategy, Monitoring and Transformation. She has both broad and deep experiences and knowledge in Innovation, digital transformation, business development, strategic partnerships, leadership, stakeholder engagement and culture management. Faith is also a board member and sits on 4 boards.Faith has been trained and certified on corporate governance and further she graduated from Yale University and University of California, Berkeley with Executive program certification in Leading effective decision making and Leading innovative change
respectively. She was nominated to join the Swedish institute Management Program representing Kenya/Africa in 2020, a program that focuses on sustainability in Leadership with planet, people and profit at the core. She also has a certification in leadership from Gordon Institute of Business Science in partnership with Strathmore Business school. Despite her Corporate background she uniquely has a Masters in Psychology, which provides her with an edge in leadership, people management, managing strategic and c-level relationships.Faith comes across as a strategic thinker and has a green thumb for insightful oversight and an eye for ‘the how of future readiness’.
Faith is also passionate about making a meaningful impact in Africa to unlock the potential in the continent.
