Rastee manages the PAL Network's assessment unit, where she is responsible for coordinating the development and implementation of the Network's common assessment initiatives and supporting members with their assessment plans. Prior to joining the PAL Network in August 2023, Rastee was working as a researcher for the RISE Programme at the Blavatnik School of Government, University of Oxford, as a policy and measurement consultant for UNICEF Pakistan, as the curriculum and assessment lead for the Centre for Economic Research in Pakistan (CERP), and as a researcher for Idara-e-Taleem-o-Aagahi (ITA). Rastee's interests include improving education measurement to understand policy levers that interact with systematic education challenges in the developing world.
