Zaida Mgalla is the former Executive Director of Uwezo Tanzania. With 10 years’ experience working as a secondary school teacher and 15 years’ experience working with local and international NGOs, Zaida’s previous work includes: Senior Program Officer for Uwezo Tanzania; Senior Advisor in Education for SNV; Social Scientist and Regional Coordinator of Youth Sexual and Reproductive Health for TANESA. Zaida is a writer and has authored of a number of case studies, publications in the local media, international peer-reviewed journals and working papers.
