Gwayi Patrick is a communications specialist with over seven years of experience in strategic communication, multimedia storytelling, and brand development within the humanitarian and international development fields. His work includes content production, digital communication strategy, visual storytelling, and creative direction.

He is the Founder and Creative Lead of UPHumanity, a communications and media consultancy in Kenya. This firm assists humanitarian, development, and non-profit organisations with communication strategy, multimedia production, and brand development and management. Under his guidance, the firm has created communication tools, campaigns, film documentaries, reports, and digital content for both regional and international partners.

Gwayi has collaborated with institutions such as World Vision, IGHD, WFP, IFC, ADRA, and IDinsight to support programs through strategic communication and creative storytelling. He holds an MA in Creative Communications Events from Falmouth University.
