Consultant for the Design, Development, and Launch of a Dedicated Website for ASER Nepal

ASER Nepal has been at the forefront of improving literacy and numeracy, reaching over 125,000 children across the country through its citizen-led assessment model. To further amplify this impact, we are creating a dynamic platform to showcase our data, resources, and success stories, while fostering collaboration within the education sector.

The PAL Network Research Fellowship Program is designed to foster research that enhances foundational learning through inclusive and citizen-led approaches. The fellowship supports researchers at various stages of their career to generate actionable insights that inform policies and practices in education. The 2025 cohort will focus on key strategic areas, including:

  • Deep Analysis of Citizen-Led Assessments (CLAs) and Actions
  • Systematic Review of Foundational Learning Programs
  • Learning Assessments in Emergencies
  • Learning Assessments for Children with Hearing and Visual Impairments
  • Social Emotional Literacy (SEL) Assessments
  • Communication and Advocacy Research
  • Enhancement of Organizational Monitoring and Evaluation (M&E) Systems

Fellowship Categories:
We offer four fellowship categories to suit researchers at different career stages:

  • Graduate Fellowships (Master’s or Doctoral students)
  • Early-Career Fellowships (2–5 years of experience)
  • Postdoctoral Fellowships (Recent PhD graduates)
  • Senior Fellowships (Experienced researchers or professionals)

Fellowship Duration and Responsibilities:
The fellowship will last between 3 to 6 months, with flexibility based on project needs. Fellows will:

  • Conduct research aligned with PAL Network’s strategic focus areas
  • Collaborate with network members and stakeholders
  • Develop research outputs (e.g., policy briefs, working papers)
  • Contribute to the network’s broader advocacy and policy initiatives
