Gonzalo Almeyda is a communications and advocacy specialist with extensive experience advancing education policy, strategic partnerships, and evidence-informed initiatives across Latin America, the Caribbean, and global education networks.
Before joining PAL Network, Gonzalo worked with the Inter-American Development Bank on regional education initiatives focused on learning acceleration, tutoring, and trajectory protection, supporting operations and partnerships across multiple countries. He previously served in senior strategic communications and public policy roles within the Government of Mexico, including at the Ministry of Education and the Ministry of Energy.
He holds a degree in International Relations from El Colegio de México and a master’s degree from Johns Hopkins School of Advanced International Studies as a Fulbright-García Robles scholar
